These pests are mostly subterranean in the central Texas area.  They can be seen when they come up around pipes that penetrate your slab or travel outside along your foundation.  When spotted, termites should be treated immediately as they can cause damage to wooden structures.  It is also a great idea to have your home inspected once a year as termites can do damage to your home even when you can’t see them.  Treatments can be as simple as a spot treatment or partial treatments.
